Finally, the draft is over! It is time to finally move on and look forward to free agency. But before we move on, let’s take a history crash course and see how the number two pick faired over the last 10 years.

2014: Jabari Parker

Parker, still at the young age of 20 years old, has spent more time on television screens for his Gatorade commercial rather than his time as a Milwaukee Buck. In 25 games before he tore his ACL, Parker averaged 12.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Parker still has a lot of time to make his mark in the NBA; we just don’t know enough yet to make a proper analysis.

2013: Victor Oladipo

Oladipo is considered one of the few gems from this incredibly weak 2013 draft class. Oladipo is a shooting guard who has also had some success at point guard. He is known as a lockdown defender who uses his quickness and strength to guard multiple positions. Oladipo finished second in Rookie of the Year voting behind Michael-Carter Williams. Oladipo averaged 17.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, improving from his rookie season. Oladipo has the potential to have a long lasting career in the NBA.
