Lakers vs. Heat: Game Time, TV, Radio, Injury Report
By Eric Yee
After falling to 1-5 against the lowly New York Knicks, the Lakers continue their 5-game roadtrip on Tuesday night with a game against the Miami Heat.
In what is presumably Kobe Bryant‘s last NBA season, things are beginning to turn into the Derek Jeter farewell tour, to the detriment of the team. Bryant spent much of Sunday’s game against the New York Knicks trying to turn back the hands of time, or joking around with friends Sasha Vujacic and Carmelo Anthony.
As a lifetime Lakers fan, this is a tough pill to swallow, but has Kobe not earned this honor?
When asked about Bryant, even Dwayne Wade had to reminisce in a Monday night interview.
"Kobe Bryant is the greatest player of our era . . . The Kobe Bryants aren’t around no more. There are good young players, but there will never be another Kobe. So every opportunity you get to [face him], you want to seize that moment"
With every passing game, it begins to look more and more like this will be Bryant’s last season. So despite his poor play, as a fan, try to do just what Wade described and seize that moment. As hard as it may be, cherish every opportunity you get to see him play, and remember all that he has done for the Lakers, and more so, for the game of basketball.
Here’s everything you need to know about Tuesday’s afternoon game.
