Lakers vs. Pistons: Game Time, TV, Radio, Injury Report

After a brutal five game road trip, where the Lakers went 1-4, tonight they return home to Los Angeles to face the Detroit Pistons.

Despite showing promise and encouraging signs on their five game road trip, the Lakers return 1-8 on the season.

For a team who has been decimated by injuries in recent years, one positive takeaway for the Lakers is that they have no players on the injury report.

More encouraging, is that after being blasted by LA Times reporter Bill Plaschke, Sunday rookie D’Angelo Russell was the last one at the training facility, getting in extra reps with the coaching staff.

In his piece Plaschke gave the fans the inside scoop on Russell.

"But then there are others, basketball insiders among them, who hear the whispers that Russell went too Hollywood . . . There is talk that he simply doesn’t work as hard as Randle or Clarkson and that he doesn’t yet understand the responsibilities of his big-boy NBA job."

Whether or not this is the truth, fans may never know, but it seems apparent that Russell got the message.

Tonight Russell has another big test, taking on former Oklahoma City Thunder point guard, Reggie Jackson who has played well so far this season. Julius Randle and Roy Hibbert will also have their hands full with Andre Drummond tonight, who is averaging nearly 20 points and 20 rebounds a game.

Here’s everything you need to know about Sunday’s afternoon game.
