Kobe Bryant announced he was retiring Sunday afternoon, and turned back the hands of time Sunday night
After announcing his retirement earlier in the day, it was only right that Kobe Bryant had a throwback moment Sunday night against the Indiana Pacers.
Trailing the entire game, the Lakers fought back valiantly pushing the game to 104-100.

In classic Kobe fashion, he caught the inbounds pass, turned, faded, hoisted and fired, hitting nothing but the bottom of the net cutting the deficit to one. The only way this moment could have been better was if Mark Jackson himself was there to shout his trade marked phrase, “MAMA, THERE GOES THAT MAN!”
The young Lakers proceeded to foul Paul George, enabling the camera to catch Kobe with a childlike grin spreading across his entire face.
The play after, Bean attempted to duplicate the results, but ended up with his third or fourth airball of the night.
Despite falling 107-103, the Black Mamba showed that he still has a little bit of magic left in his bones.
The show is almost over, but fans would be wise to cherish every last moment they have to watch the last of a dying breed.
