Lakers: Cyber Monday Gifts Los Angeles Would Love to Have

The Lakers struggles this season are well documented but there are some things that should be on Los Angeles’ wishlist

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are shoppers’ favorite days of the year. Who doesn’t like buying things at absurdly low prices?

Considering the fact that the Lakers only have two wins one month into the NBA season, some Cyber Monday deals might be just what they need to bring in some Christmas cheer. Here’s some things the Lakers would love to have.

60 Inch 4K Ultra HD TV for D’Angelo Russell

Last week, when asked if he watches film, D’Angelo Russell answered “not really.”

More from Lake Show Life

Considering Byron Scott‘s consistent response that Russell still makes too many mistakes, which in turn accounts for his lack of playing time, his answer was befuddling.

Prior to the draft, Russell so candidly boasted that he was the best player in the draft. But looking at his work ethic it seems like maybe this was just an act, something every rookie is supposed to say. Similar to how every coach should say that winning is their main priority.

To quote, Kevin Durant, who stole the quote from Tim Notke, “Hard work beats talent, when talent won’t work hard.” That said, a 60 inch television is perfect for Russell to watch film on.

Beats Headphones for Byron Scott and Kobe Bryant

Lately, Scott and Kobe have been taking a beating in the media, so it may be time for them to pick up some headphones and “hear what want.”

Scott admitted that he tends to ignore “angry fans” so what better way to do so than like The Big Ticket in this comical commercial.

From Kobe’s airballs to Scott’s ridiculous comments, the low hanging fruit is there for the taking. Both men would be wise to buy a pair of headphones, crank up their favorite songs, and ride out the criticism.

Leather Recliner Chair for Anthony Brown

If Byron Scott is going to continue to sit Anthony Brown on the bench, he may as well sit comfortably.

Brown was recently demoted to the NBA D-League where he’s put up impressive numbers — 16.6 points a game on 45 percent shooting. His strong performances are helping build his case for minutes over veteran Metta World Peace. At 2-13, what do the Lakers have to lose?

The Lakers may have found another second round gem in Anthony Brown, but they need to give him a chance to shine, just as they did a season ago with Jordan Clarkson.
