Lakers vs. Pacers: Live Game Chat Thread

Sunday night the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Indiana Pacers at home, in the first game of Kobe Bryant’s official farewell tour

Early Sunday afternoon, Kobe Bryant formally announced that he will retire at the end of this season.

Although Bryant denied wanting a Derek Jeter styled farewell tour, he will undoubtedly be getting one and it starts tonight at STAPLES Center.

The NBA seems to have planned for this fact ahead of time, as this is the third Sunday in a row that the Lakers are playing at home, giving Lakers fans yet another chance to catch Kobe in his Sunday Whites.

More from Lake Show Life

This season has been extremely tough for Bryant, as he has seemingly shot more airballs in a month than he has in 20 seasons. That said, nothing he does can diminish all of the accomplishments and barriers he’s broken down in his storied NBA career.

Expect an emotional performance from the Black Mamba and an even more excitable STAPLES Center crowd. Hopefully, Kobe’s announcement will light a fire underneath the team and ignite them to their third win of the season.

Join us tonight as we will be live chatting the entire game and paying tribute to the great Kobe Bryant.
