In Kobe Bryant news, the Black Mamba was offered a chance to play overseas in Italy
Colleges often accept sons or daughters of their alumni in order to keep the family legacy alive.

The NBA is widely accepted as the best basketball league on the planet, and this is attested to by the fact that Joe Bryant, an average player in the NBA, was able to score 69 points in an Italian league contest.
That said, 20 year veteran Kobe Bryant may be struggling heavily in the NBA but would likely be able to average upwards of 20 points were he to play overseas.
The letter, translated from Italian to English, plays to Kobe Bryant’s family history, even including a picture of Kobe in a Viola Reggio Calabria jersey with his father and his youth team.
"We want you to come home, to wear our colours, to represent our city, just as your father did before you. There is a black and orange family waiting for you, with the same name on the back: “Bryant”A warm hug, dear Kobe, our great basketball legend. From the Viola Reggio Calabria"
Kobe has stated multiple times that his last professional game will be for the Los Angeles Lakers, but it is impressive to see how much of an impact he has had on basketball across the globe.
