Lakers rookie Larry Nance Jr.’s dog and his Roomba gave him much bigger problems than a minor injury
Los Angeles Lakers rookie power forward Larry Nance Jr. had a rough weekend on a back-to-back for the Lakers. He was injured on Saturday night just three minutes into the game and had to leave the game early and then the minor knee injury kept him out of action in Sunday night’s matchup against the Houston Rockets.
On Monday night, though, bigger problems than any injury came to light for the Lakers rookie.
While the Lakers had the night off on Monday, Nance tweeted out a not-so-secretly coded message that described a pretty awful sounding incident involving his dog, his dog’s poop, and a Roomba where everything went awry:
"Dog poop + Roomba ="
That is almost certainly not how any NBA player (or person for that matter) wants to spend a day out of the office. The makers of Roombas should really be more conscious about this type of thing and install some “this is dog poop, maybe don’t spread it all around my house and ruin my night” feature.

That being said, at least Nance seemed to have a good sense of humor about it enough that he was taking to Twitter and using emojis to describe the ordeal. Even still, you have to feel bad for the youngster as he comes into adulthood. It’s like my grandfather used to always say: you can’t become a man until you’ve had to clean up all the dog poo in your house that your robot vacuum accidentally spread everywhere.
