Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson rose up to throw down a monster dunk over Kings guard Ben McLemore

The Los Angeles Lakers fell victim to a big Rajon Rondo dunk early on in their matchup with the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Rondo turned back the clock a bit, but the Lakers—Jordan Clarkson in particular—weren’t about to let the veteran show them up like that inside STAPLES Center.

That’s when Clarkson had to dust off the springs and show the Kings a little something that he could do in the third quarter.

Early in the start of the second half, the second-year guard in Clarkson got a head full of steam with the ball in his hands in the open court and took off towards the rim. King guard Ben McLemore was there to try and contest as Clarkson rose up toward the rim, but the former Missouri guard just glided past/through him for the monster one-handed jam:

Don’t hurt ‘em, JC!

Though he’s been just as consistent as the rest of the Lakers as a whole, Clarkson has shown many of the promising flashes that he did as a rookie throughout his sophomore campaign as well.

However, I’m not sure anything he’s done this season has gotten fans out of their seats quite like his dunk on McLemore on Wednesday night.
