5. Danuel House – Texas A&M

The Texas A&M Aggies won the SEC in the regular season and largely thinks to the efforts of senior forward Danuel House. Given that the Lakers could desperately use quality depth on the wings going forward past this season, House has proven throughout the year that he’s the type of player LA should keep an eye on and will have the chance to show it again in the tournament.

House, in the 33 games that he’s played this season, put up 15.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. The obvious knock on the playmaker is his lack of efficient offense as he shot only 39.3 percent from the floor and an abysmal 30.7 percent from long range throughout his senior year. However, he’s proven to be a player that embraces the big moment and could really put his talents on display on a stage like March Madness.

He’ll need some development at the next level, but as House is predicted to go undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, he’s the type of player that the Lakers could sign and develop in the D-League for a couple of seasons and that could potentially be valuable down the line. It’s obviously not a sure thing, but the Lakers will see in the tournament if they think he’s worth taking a flyer on.
