On top of the three remaining Kobe Bryant shoes releasing this week, Nike has added another pair to the scheduled drops for the Lakers’ superstar
Since March 22, Nike has been releasing a pair of Kobe Bryant shoes a day starting with his original Kobe I, ending with the Kobe XI on April 13.
But now, on top of the three remaining shoes releasing this week — Kobe IX, X and XI — Nike will be adding a special “Mamba Day” option to Nike iD starting at the tip of Kobe’s last game against the Utah Jazz.

Similar to when Kobe surpassed Michael Jordan for third on the All-Time Scoring list, the shoes will likely only be available during the game which is a small window of time.
Per Nike, starting at $225, the shoe features a black upper with gold story telling graphics honoring Kobe’s greatest accomplishments with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Further, while fans will be able to customize the shoe to their liking, it is highly recommended that they stick to the generic “Mamba” on the left shoe and “4.13” on the right shoe to get the full value of the shoe.
