Full disclosure, Kris Dunn of the Providence Friars might be my favorite player in this entire draft. The point guard with great size would’ve been a lottery pick had he come into the draft last season, but he elected to stay one more year in college and his star only continued to grow in regards to his draft stock. Given what I think the Phoenix Suns might and should do this offseason, I think Dunn is the logical pick here.

The biggest thing that needs to be said about what I believe may happen in Phoenix this summer is that I think they may move on from Eric Bledsoe in whatever way they can. Though Bledsoe is an obviously talented player, staying healthy has been a serious issue for the guard recently. Moreover, he’s starting to look more and more like a remnant of an era that the organization is going to try and move on from.

And even if they don’t move on from Bledsoe this offseason, bringing in a point guard like Dunn to play behind him and to have ready as a replacement in case of injury would be a great move for the Suns. Dunn simply has playmaker written all over him on both ends of the floor and he’s going to be a major factor in this league sooner rather than later.
