The best Lakers’ news in weeks has just hit the airwaves with Adrian Wojnarowski dropping yet another #WojBomb

After undergoing back-to-back worst seasons in franchise history, the Los Angeles Lakers have bit the bullet finally firing head coach, Byron Scott.

First reported by Stephen A. Smith, the news was later confirmed by a much more credible source in Adrian Wojanrowski of The Vertical.

Now that Scott is gone, the Lakers can fully focus on a finding an actual coach to lead their young players into the future with a fresh start. The question remains, what took the front office so long to do so?

Regardless, at the end of the day, Tank Commander Scott served his purpose, hopefully leading the Lakers to back-to-back top three draft picks.

The Lakers will still have their fair share of coaching prospects, despite the fact that front runners Scott Brooks and Tom Thibodeau are no longer available. As of now, Luke Walton seems to be the belle of the ball but whether or not he is the correct man for the job remains to be seen.

Los Angeles must tread carefully in the next few weeks before jumping into yet another rash decision and being forced to pay another coach’s salary unnecessarily.
