Lakers wing Nick Young would’ve had his newest back tattoo misspelled if Iggy Azalea hadn’t been there

Nick Young is most aptly described as the class clown of the Los Angeles Lakers and one of the many in the NBA. He also seems to have some quirky and funny commentary on random situations—unless of course you play a bad joke where you videotape him admitting to being unfaithful to his fiancé. He gets serious quite quickly then.

Swaggy P and his fiancé, rapper Iggy Azalea, must be doing fine now in the wake of the whole D’Angelo Russell locker room video incident. Or at least they’re doing well enough that Iggy doesn’t want Young to get a tattoo on his back that’s misspelled—because that’s what would’ve happened if Azalea hadn’t been there on Wednesday.

Young was getting a tattoo n the top of his back that would span across his shoulders. The tattoo was supposed to read “Born Rebel.” Before Iggy walked in and stopped the tattoo artist, though, this is what the Lakers guard/forward was about to get in ink on his back:

Maybe that’s how he wanted the tattoo, Iggy! Perhaps Young was born to reble so hard that he rebles against proper spelling!

If we’re being 100 percent fair about this, it would be hard to be by yourself and have an artist misspell something on your back. How are you supposed to easily be able to look back there and see that? That seems pretty close to impossible if you ask me.

With that being said, this was a great moment on Twitter with the couple interacting. Not only does it indicate that these two might actually be on solid(ish) ground now, but it also provided the Lakers fans with a bit of nightly entertainment. For that, we thank Young just as much as he’s likely thanking his significant other for helping him avoid this mistake.
