Lakers: R Kelly Stops Concert to Re-Watch Kobe Bryant’s Last Game
By Eric Yee
R Kelly stopped his concert in Chicago Saturday night to re-watch Kobe Bryant‘s last game with the Los Angeles Lakers
Of the various celebrities and athletes who took to Twitter during Kobe Bryant’s last game with the Lakers just a month ago, singer, R. Kelly, may have gotten the most press for his Tweet but not for the reason you may be thinking.
Kelly posted a Twitter photo of himself watching the Black Mamba’s last game with the caption, “Give it up for the man @kobebryant !! Whose talents on the court have always inspired me in my own craft. #MambaDay”

However, it wasn’t his touching caption that drew the attention of the Twitter-sphere on that storied night, rather the size of his relatively tiny television screen hanging on his wall.
But according to Yahoo writer, Derrick Rossignol, it was Kelly who got the last laugh Saturday night at his Chicago concert bringing his entire concert to a halt to watch some hilarious videos.
Alongside a series of other interesting choices such as watching the “Jake from State Farm” commercial, as well as scenes from Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence’s classic movie, Life,
"event staff brought a brown leather recliner onto the catwalk and pointed it towards the 50-foot video screen on stage. Then, R. Kelly sat down and watched portions of Kobe’s final game, this time on a significantly larger screen than before"
Seeing how R Kelly has been involved in a series of questionable decisions in his past, this harmless inclusion in his concert adds yet another bizarre, comical chapter in his story.

It will be interesting to hear what Kobe Bryant has to say about the incident when inevitably asked about it, but for now can we just take a second to appreciate R. Kelly’s impressive trolling?
