PF. Marquette. Henry Ellenson. 13. player. 66. Given what the Suns did this past season and how hopeless things looked for that team at times throughout the year, they really feel like a team that could use any young player with any kind of talent or upside that’s worth speaking of. However, one player that would fit quite interestingly with the players they already have on the roster would be the big man out of Marquette in Henry Ellenson fresh off his lone season in the college ranks.

Because he was buried on a Marquette team that really wasn’t all that good at playing the game of basketball, Ellenson felt like he got buried or lost in the shuffle from time to time. However, he showed time and again this season that he’s a highly productive and extremely talented big man in every regard. He can score both on the interior and stepping out to the perimeter in addition to effectively attacking the glass and putting up rebounding numbers.

When you look at guys like Tyson Chandler, Alex Len, and even someone like Jon Leuer for the Suns, they all have some talent as frontcourt players, but they don’t have the ability to stretch the floor like Ellenson does. Subsequently, adding him to that roster would theoretically make them far more dynamic and intriguing moving forward.
