Wade Baldwin. 19. player. 73. There’s probably a good chance that you didn’t catch much Vanderbilt basketball this past season because, well, not many people did as they were middlers in a weak-ish SEC. However, if you had you would have seen their star point guard and one of the best NBA prospects in the conference in Wade Baldwin doing his thing and been impressed.
Yes I have the Nuggets taking Jamal Murray earlier in the draft and yes they took Mudiay earlier in the draft. However, Denver is a team much further away from contending than a team would need to be to be worried about that. I’d love to see them get a dynamic player like Baldwin that would be able to backup Mudiay and help that team start progressing.
. PG. Vanderbilt

SF. Baylor. Taurean Prince. 20. player. 100. One of the surprisingly many upperclassmen in this draft, Taurean Prince. Though Baylor was perpetually disappointing when it came to the postseason, Prince was a star for the Bears throughout as a contributor on both ends of the floor. Even better when you look at him in the context of the draft, though, is the fact that he has the physical tools to do that at the NBA level.
The Pacers obviously have a ton of potential as long as Paul George and their lottery pick from last year in Myles Turner are on the floor. However, adding another high quality prospect like Prince would be something that could really help them vault back seriously into contention in the East.
