. PG. Vanderbilt. Wade Baldwin. 14. player. 24

Height: 6-4
Weight: 202 pounds
Wingspan: 6-11.25
DOB: 03/29/96

The more and more tape and the more workouts that former Vanderbilt Commodores guard Wade Baldwin goes through, the more I like him as an NBA prospect. With the draft now just a little more than a month away and the combine having already happened, the point guard is sitting right on the fringe of the lottery and I have him wrapping it up by going to the Chicago Bulls.

Baldwin already has solid size for a point guard as he measured 6-4 with shoes, but what really stood out at the combine was his wingspan that was just shy of seven-feet and then a max vertical of 38 inches. When you put that alongside solid production as a sophomore for a shaky Vanderbilt team—an indictment of those around him more than anything—where he averaged 14.1 points, 5.2 assists, four boards, and 1.2 steals per game and Baldwin is looking great leading up to the draft.

Though some may have a different view, I think the Bulls should be looking to start now by backing up Derrick Rose and really grooming his replacement. Baldwin could be that guy and that’s why I have him finishing up the lottery.
