Wingspan: 6-11.5
DOB: 08/22/1994

Though he may have just been a part of the Baylor Bears looking impressive in the regular season and then letting down fans when it comes to the tournament for most of his college career, Taurean Prince was still a huge presence down in Waco over his college career. Now he’s a highly intriguing prospect in terms of what he can do at the next level.

Outside of having a solid frame and great athleticism off of the wing at the small forward position, Prince was wildly productive in his final year at college. He finished the year averaging 16 points, six rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals in 30.8 minutes per game while shooting 43.1 percent from the floor and 36.1 percent from long range.

Prince certainly already has an NBA skill set and the size and physical tools to succeed at an NBA level as well. However, the real key is finding the right fit for him. If the Celtics were to keep their pick, though, they’re the type of team with the depth all around and the slight need at forward for a player like Prince to play as a role player. It makes sense and would be worth a shot.
