Lakers’ guard, Nick Young think he knows why the Golden State Warriors are struggling so hard as of late

If you have been following the NBA Playoffs, then you know that the Golden State Warriors are down three games to one to the Russell Westbrook led Oklahoma City Thunder.

Losing the last two games by 26 points on average, the Warriors are not the same team that fans grew to appreciate over the course of the regular season and Lakers’ guard, Nick Young feels like he has the answer as to why.

In a series of Tweets posted on Wednesday, though it wasn’t directly pointed at the Warriors, Nick Young sent passive-aggressive messages of “Ain’t been the same since the staple center,” and “The world sad right now,” “well all the bandwagons.”

H/T to Complex News for finding this gem, but as they pointed out the Warriors are actually winning at a similar rate to the regular season, so his Tweets aren’t exactly accurate. Regardless, it’s still a funny attempt at kicking the Warriors when they’re down.

The news surrounding Young has been relatively quiet ever since his Real Housewives of LA Lakers drama with Lakers’ rookie point guard, D’Angelo Russell, so to see him talking about something other than that is the best news we have heard about him in months.

Young’s future with the Purple and Gold is currently cloudy, as there were reports that the team was actively looking for suitors for him around the deadline but couldn’t find any takers.

Considering that the team likely expects Russell to be the point guard of the future, it seems fair to assume that Young will be gone before opening night.
