18. . C. Maryland. Diamond Stone. 31. player

Need another big man if you’re the Celtics? Take a player who was once a first-rounder in Stone that has fallen off a bit.

. SG/SF. Virginia. Malcolm Brogdon. 32. player. 20

The Lakers need shooting and defensive help on their perimeter, which means Brogdon is an ideal pick for them at No. 32.

Ben Bentil. 33. player. 77. . PF. Providence

Bentil has so much skill as an offensive player and overall potential. As such, I like the sense he makes for the other team in LA.

Thon Maker. 34. player. 66. . PF/C. High School/International

There’s no bigger risk in this draft in my opinion than Maker, but I think the Suns are again going to be willing to swing for the fences.

Petr Cornelie. 35. player. 18. . SF. International

Possible stash here, but Cornelie has great potential down the road and Boston could afford to let him develop elsewhere.

. SF. International. Rade Zagorac. 36. player. 89

See above, but the Bucks can let a talented prospect with upside like Zagorac develop properly for a year or two.

Kentucky. Tyler Ulis. 37. player. 169. . PG

First round talent, but with some injury concerns coming into the draft. I’d love to see him in Houston and how he’d work offensively with James Harden and behind Patrick Beverley.

38. player. 89. . PF. International. Guerschon Yabusele

Yabusele could sneak into the first, but I think he becomes a steal for a team like the Bucks.

UNLV. Patrick McCaw. 39. player. 69. . SG

There’s no real consensus on where McCaw goes in this draft, but I don’t think the Pelicans will let him fall past them at No. 39.

69. . C. Louisville. Chinanu Onuaku. 40. player

You’d have to love to see Onuaku come in and hopefully provide some stability beside Anthony Davis, which I think he could here.

International. Paul Zipser. 41. player. 38. . SF

Zipser has great potential out of Germany and I think he could be a real asset in Orlando.

A.J. Hammons. 42. player. 118. . C. Purdue

There’s not a great deal of upside with Hammons, but he has NBA-ready size and instincts that could be effective relatively quickly.

New Mexico State. Pascal Siakam. 43. player. 169. . PF

He’s old to be only a sophomore, but was wildly productive in college. Siakam could be one of the draft’s biggest sleepers.

C. UNLV. Stephen Zimmerman. 44. player. 125.

We’ve seen Zimmerman’s stock fall in a big, big way, but he has the physical tools to be something. The Hawks system could benefit him tremendously.

Maryland. Robert Carter. 45. player. 18. . PF/C

Carter is another big man that could have an impact in the right system and Boston could ultimately help him find that role with the coaching and talent they have.

Now we can wrap up this 2016 NBA mock draft with the end of the second round.
