Lakers Offseason: Jordan Clarkson Working Out With Tim DiFrancesco (Video)
By Eric Yee
Jordan Clarkson is the latest of the Los Angeles Lakers’ budding stars to join strength and conditioning coach, Tim DiFrancesco for some #LakersWork
Starting with Larry Nance Jr. and moving on to Anthony Brown and Julius Randle, the latest episode of #LakersWork features junior guard, Jordan Clarkson.
Upon searching the internet for Clarkson’s day-to-day weight, we found that his numbers range from the 180s all the way to 194, though he was listed at 186 pounds at the 2014 NBA Draft Combine.
With that in mind, it is appears obvious that Clarkson has definitely entered the 200 pound club as he’s packed on tons of muscle since the offseason began.
Now, working side by side with Lakers’ strength and conditioning coach, Tim DiFrancesco, fans are able to get an inside scoop on what Clarkson is actually doing in his Snapchats.
"Genetically, he’s got a gift of almost being able to walk through the weight room and start to gain weight practically. Where some people have to just grind it out for hours and months and years and days."

In terms of work ethic, the way DiFrancesco describes it is almost reminiscent of another recently retired Laker: Kobe Bryant.
"The second he wakes up in the morning, it’s ‘What workout am I going to? Am I going to a skill workout? Am I going to Tim in the weight room’ . . .He’s not sitting on his butt. He’s always looking for the next workout and ready for it."
This should be great news for Lakers’ fans, as even though Clarkson is a restricted free agent, it’s almost guaranteed that the front office brings him back for the foreseeable future, especially considering their current standings with top tier free agents.
In specific regards to his workout in the video, it appears the camera crew caught him on a chest and triceps day, and seeing that he has no problem moving 185 pounds on his chest press shows he’s already gained strength from his workouts prior to last season.
While backcourt mate, D’Angelo Russell is the one who described his desire to “become a bully” this offseason, it appears that Clarkson may have beaten him to it.
