Another day another Nike Kobe 11 exclusive release, this time it is a new pair of sneakers from the “Quai 54” line
Recently releasing the European exclusive, Nike Kobe 11 “Quai 54” to honor Paris’ famous outdoor, streetball tournament which was created in 2003, Nike is now also releasing another set of XIs for Kobe Bryant’s friends and family only.
Reportedly limited to just 54 pairs, if you thought getting your hands on a pair of the original “Quai 54” XIs were difficult to get you are in for a treat with this latest pair.

Dissimilar from the original which featured a black and white upper, with light gold accents, and an amazing mural on the insole of the shoe, the Friends and Family edition seems to look more like a pair you would wear casually, and more so, carefully, instead of on court.
Still using the light gold accents, the F&F colorway utilizes a bone grey upper and an off white sole to establish that classy look the brand is obviously looking for. Of course, paying homage to its name, the shoe also has “Quai 54” embroidered near the heel of the sneaker.
To put the shoe’s rarity in perspective, the Kobe Prelude pack that was released earlier this year was in the thousands for each pair, and it was already difficult to get your hands on a pair of those.
So needless to say, somehow obtaining a pair of these beauties is likely going to be impossible, unless you’re actually in Kobe’s close circle of friends… or Judy Seto… or Gary Vitti.
