Lakers vs Sacramento Kings Preseason Preview: Where and When to Watch
By Eric Yee
The long offseason is finally over. Here is everything you need to know about the Los Angeles Lakers’ first preseason game against the Sacramento Kings
For months fans have been counting down the days until the start of the 2016-17 season, and though we are still a little over three weeks away from Opening Night, October 4 represents the start of a new era for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kobe Bryant may have played his last game for the Purple and Gold back in April, but Tuesday night will be the first game the franchise will truly be without their dark knight in shining armor. However, the team must be commended for their efforts to replace the irreplaceable.
Armed with a young core of D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle and new addition, Brandon Ingram, Los Angeles looks to prove their doubters wrong from the get go.

News out of training camp have the youngsters out to a strong start but Tuesday night will give fans a better idea of what to expect for the season moving forward.
The latest reports have Coach Luke Walton yet to decide on a starting lineup for the preseason opener, which could suggest that Brandon Ingram has done enough in just one week of training camp to show his new coach that he’s worthy of a starting position.
Of course, there are also a series of other possibilities that could account for Walton’s change of heart, but this one seems to make sense all things considered.
