Battle of the Up-and-Comers

While this game may not seem enticing to some casual fans, the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on November 13th will showcase two of the best young rosters in the NBA.

For the T-Wolves, they boast the reigning Rookie of the Year Karl Anthony-Towns, 2-time defending Slam Dunk champion Zach LaVine, and former number one overall draft pick, Andrew Wiggins.

While @Sidbo_HBK’s line-up projections are not a reality yet, they may be soon as coach Tom Thibodeau also has promising young players in Shabazz Muhammad, Kris Dunn, and Gorgui Dieng that will be fighting to crack the starting line-up.

On the Los Angeles side of the story, they will have 3 former lottery picks in Brandon Ingram, D’Angelo Russell, and Julius Randle, as well as other improving talents in Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr, and Ivica Zubac. While the Lakers youngsters don’t have the same awards as their Minnesota counterparts, they are certainly not short on skills.

These two teams may still be a ways away from competing for a championship this year, but they could be serious title contenders in a few years if they continue to improve.

With two of the most talented and exciting young teams in the league, this will likely be a game filled with SportsCenter Top 10 highlights.
