Larry Nance Jr. needs your help to be crowned dunk lord for the 2016-17 season.

Raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized Larry Donnell Nance Jr.

If your name is David West, Festus Ezeli, Cheick Diallo or Brook Lopez you know the name very well. In fact, you might have even considered retiring after being dunked on by Nance.

It’s okay, it’s not like they can give out awards for being dunked on … or can they?

The NBA announced that there will six categories fans can vote on in the upcoming NBA awards show. One of those categories is “Dunk of the Year,” which Nance is nominated for this year.

The dunk he is nominated for is the dunk against the Nets last December when he made Brook Lopez his son. Nance became the father of twins, Brook and Robin Nance.

He will be going up against some stiff competition, including former dunk champions Victor Oladipo and Zach LaVine. However, with the strength of Lakers Nation, he should be alright.

You can vote for Nance here.

Fans are hoping Nance is completely healthy when All-Star weekend rolls around next year in Los Angeles.
