The Los Angeles will be starting their Summer League action in Las Vegas. Here are three reasons to be excited.

To this point in the offseason, it hasn’t been too exciting as a Los Angeles Lakers fan to be quite honest. A few re-signings and rumors have been much of the discussion so far. As free agency rolls along, Laker nation basketball returns tonight.

The Lakers will open up their Summer League schedule tonight vs. the Clippers. It will be our first look at Lonzo Ball in Laker gold. Just one of the many reasons to be excited for the next few days of basketball.

To continue, we will get our first look at the improvements Brandon Ingram has reportedly made to his game over the past few months. Look for him to physically take over the games during this years summer league. Other players on the roster this summer for the Lakers include Josh Hart, David Nwaba, Ivica Zubac, Kyle Kuzma, and a sleeper to make the roster, Vander Blue.

With this loaded roster the Lakers have set a goal to win the summer league title. The three things that I’ll be watching most closely are Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and the anticipated game vs. rival Boston on Saturday. Even in the Summer League, this rivalry game will bring out some intriguing matchups that I will discuss later in the article. As the dog days of summer continue, we finally get some Laker basketball back to enjoy. The Lonzo Ball show is finally here. Let’s take a closer look at what will be exciting about this summer league in Las Vegas.
