His first points of the game came off of a sweet lob from rookie Lonzo Ball and he never looked back. Whatever he wanted he got included a game-tying bucket at the rim that sent the Lakers and Clippers to overtime.

Ingram did it all for the Lakers and was the engine that made them go. He finished with a game-high 26 points off of 52.9 percent shooting from the field. He would have scored more and possibly won the game for the Lakers had a cramp not sidelined him for overtime.

After tying the game with a drive to the basket, Ingram stole the ball on defense and called a timeout with 4.2 seconds left. He had a chance to win the game for the Lakers but couldn’t connect on a buzzer beater.

Ingram came down awkwardly after that shot and everyone on the Lakers, including their fans, held their collective breath.

He was able to walk it off but after the injury scare Magic Johnson shut him down for the rest of the game. He and the Lakers had seen enough.
