On the Los Angeles Lakers’ run to the Las Vegas Summer League Championship, there were a few players who stood out the most for the team.

The Los Angeles Lakers are your new Summer League Champions. Winning it all was a goal that the team set out for themselves and they accomplished that goal. A great first step to bringing the winning culture back to the Purple and Gold.

After bringing in four players through the draft and teaming up with Brandon Ingram, the Lakers looked like one of the best teams heading into Las Vegas.

Success didn’t come right away for the Lakers though, dropping the first two games to the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics.

Suffering multiple injuries, including shutting down Ingram, the Lakers looked dead in the water. However, through key performances and team chemistry, the team managed to win out the rest of the games and become champions. The Lakers are the lowest seeded team ever to win the championship.

A lot of players stepped up their game to help the team but certain players stood out the most in Las Vegas. Here are the three standouts for the Lakers in the Summer League.
