Los Angeles Lakers: Kobe Bryant’s top 10 games of all-time
By Matt Leaman
April 13th, 2016 vs Jazz
April 13, 2016, was the last time Kobe stood foot on an NBA court. This night certainly got off to a shaky start, as Kobe admit-tingly said he was fighting his emotions. Understandably so, as Kobe said farewell to all those Lakers fan that he fed off of for 20 seasons.
When the night was all said and done he finished with 60 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Though not his most efficient game, while he shot 22-of-50 from the field to conclude his career. This game was more of a tribute than anything, as the Lakers let him go out and get up a high number of shots.
Kobe finished this game and his career in style. With the Lakers trailing by 10 with 2:46 remaining, Kobe rattled off 13 unanswered points in the final two minutes of action. This eventually led to a 101-96 victory for the Lakers.
What a way to end a legendary career with a game that shouldn’t be forgotten, amongst all his other great performances. Mamba out. Enjoy the last three minutes of Kobe’s career here.
