Former Los Angeles Lakers forward Tarik Black gave fans a final look at his game in the Drew League as he prepares his family for a move to Houston.

An amazing experience, that is the feeling Tarik Black is leaving the Los Angeles Lakers organization with, and he really loves Lakers fans in Los Angeles. It was a dream come true for Black to be a Laker, and he will never forget his great experience with the coaches and the team.

But NBA doesn’t only stand for the National Basketball Association, it also stands for the National Business Association, and that’s what it is in the end, it’s a business.

Black has been staying in as of late, not many appearances, wanting to get his future all laid out in front of him first. So he was happy that he has his Houston Rockets contract all sewn up and when Nick Young texted him to find out if he could play in the Drew League, Black was totally on board.

Black is married with a baby on the way. His in-laws live in Dallas, so this works out well for him moving to back to Houston.

Tarik appeared in 25 games in Houston as a rookie in his first season (2014-15). While in Houston he averaged 4.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

After Black was done playing in the Drew League, he was gracious and gave us some time to catch up with him. What we were dying to know is, how did Lakers fans and the organization treat him and was he excited about going back to Houston to play for Mike D’Antoni, the NBA Coach of the year for last season. Find out where his head is at, and how excited he is for his future.

Next: Julius Randle and USC's Elijah Stewart team up in The Drew!

This weekend Chris Paul, Nick Young, Julius Randle and James Harden will play in The Drew League, if you haven’t gone, it is quite the experience. We wish Black a ton of luck, except for against the Lakers, and hopefully, we will see him again in Los Angeles.
