NBA 2K18 will have All-Time teams for every franchise in the NBA. Who might the Los Angeles Lakers have in their starting five and off the bench?

The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the greatest franchises in NBA history. They have had a number of Hall of Famers wear the purple and gold and have won 16 NBA Championships. We will see some of those great players in this year’s NBA 2K18 video game.

It was announced that NBA 2K18 will feature an All-Time team for all 30 NBA franchises. This will be the first time that people can play with the greatest players of any franchise together. NBA 2K has featured some iconic teams, such as the USA Dream Team from 1992 and the 1996 Chicago Bulls. Now, each team will have their own All-Time team for fans to choose from.

Many fans dreams will become a somewhat of a reality with this announcement. For Lakers fans, the combinations are endless.

What Lakers fan wouldn’t want to see Magic Johnson and Jerry West in the same backcourt? What about one of those two icons playing alongside Kobe Bryant in the backcourt with Wilt Chamberlain in the post? Shaquille O’Neal catching entry passes from Johnson or West would be a sight to see as well. There is a chance that will happen in this year’s version of NBA 2K.

The Lakers have a number of players that have strong cases to be on this team. An endless amount of great players have suited up for the team, so there will be some snubs from the roster. Choosing between 12 and 15 is not going to be an easy task for the 2K creators, but we will take a crack at guessing some of them.
