Los Angeles Lakers
ANAHEIM, CA – SEPTEMBER 30: Larry Nance Jr.

It can’t get any worse!

If 3-point shooting was an area of weakness the team thought it addressed this summer we might have a problem. As a team the Lakers shot 5 of 30 (17%) from deep on Saturday night.

Among those who disappointed; Ball was 1-5, Ingram 1-5, KCP 0-4, Kuzma 1-4 and Clarkson 1-3. Brewer, Caruso, Ennis, Nance, Randle and Zubac combined to shoot 0-7. Vander Blue led the Lakers shooting 1-for-2 from deep.

When your starting center (Brook Lopez who didn’t play) is arguably the best 3-point shooter on your team you know there’s a problem. If the Lakers have a solution remains to be seen. If the Lakers as a team can’t shoot from three it will be a long season for everyone.

So there’s the good, the bad and the ugly from the Lakers preseason loss to the Timberwolves. As expected lots to be excited about and lots to be concerned about.

Lets see how the Lakers perform against Denver on Monday. I’ll be there cheering them on, how about you!
