The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing for the start of the regular season. Who were their top three performers from the preseason?

With the regular season right around the corner for the Los Angeles Lakers, they have wrapped up their preseason play.

It ended up being a very offseason for the Lakers. With the changes in the front office, Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka made a lot of moves to help improve the Lakers for not only this season but for the future.

The Lakers had a plan in place to create cap space for next offseason and continue to build their young core. On paper, it looks like the Lakers have done a great job at both, and there is a lot of excitement heading into the season.

Unfortunately for the Lakers, the preseason didn’t go all that well. The Lakers were pretty banged up in the preseason, and that certainly helped contribute to their poor record. Both Brook Lopez and Lonzo Ball missed multiple games. As the starting point guard and center for the regular season, Ball and Lopez were never able to get on the court together.

In addition to the injuries, the Lakers also had some players under-perform in the preseason. Many were expecting to see big things from Brandon Ingram in the preseason. However, that wasn’t the case.

Even though it was a bit of a disappointing preseason, the Lakers did have some players that really performed well. Here were the top three performers for the Lakers in the preseason.
