– Kyle Kuzma
The legend of Kyle Kuzma only grew in the preseason for the Los Angeles Lakers. After being drafted late in the first round of the NBA Draft, Kuzma has quickly proven to be a steal for the Lakers. In the Las Vegas Summer League, Kuzma really impressed us all with his ability to score from anywhere on the court. Since it was just the Summer League, everyone was extremely anxious to see what he would do against better competition in the preseason.
Despite the competition improve, Kuzma lived up to the Summer League hype and maybe even exceeded it. In the preseason, Kuzma averaged 17.3 points per game on 51.4 percent shooting from the floor. While his three-point percentage was a bit lower than the Summer League, he was still an efficient scorer overall for the Lakers. In fact, Kuzma led the team in points per game in the preseason.
