The Los Angeles Lakers travel to face the Portland Trail Blazers on November 2nd, 2017. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers are making their lone visit of the season to the northwest to face the Portland Trail Blazers. This will be the first of three meetings this season, with the final two coming at the STAPLES Center.

The Lakers come into this game with a 3-4 record, coming off an impressive victory over the Detroit Pistons. This will be their third road game of the season.

Portland comes into the game on a two-game losing streak, with a record of 4-4. They will look to improve that record in the coming weeks as the Lakers are the first opponent on their six-game homestand. They won’t leave Portland for a game until Friday, November 17th.

Once again, Lonzo Ball will be tested in this game by Damian Lillard. Lillard is one of the best offensive point guards in the NBA and will give Ball all he can handle. C.J. McCollum presents problems of his own at shooting guard so Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will also have his work cut out for him tonight.

More from Lakers History

While the Blazers could have the advantage in the backcourt, the frontcourt advantage goes to the Lakers. The Lakers trio of Larry Nance Jr., Kyle Kuzma and Julius Randle have really produced in recent games. They are all playing very well, contributing in every facet of the game.

Their success has cut into the minutes of Brook Lopez, but he will be needed tonight against the talented Jusuf Nurkic. Nurkic is a mountain of a man, so having one of the power forwards move up to defend him constantly could result in some tough situations.

The Blazers are already using a relatively shallow bench, as only seven players have appeared in every game; McCollum has appeared in all seven he has been eligible for. The Lakers, meanwhile, have had eight players appear in every game, with Caldwell-Pope appearing in all five he has been eligible for.

It will be interesting to see if that plays a factor in this game. Can the Lakers wear down the Trail Blazers with their uptempo attack, knowing they have more depth? Or will the Trail Blazers backcourt prove to be too much for the Lakers and snap their two-game losing streak?

We will have to wait and find out! Luckily for Lakers fans everywhere, this game will be nationally televised. Can’t find the game, don’t worry, we have you covered. Here is all the information you need to watch the Lakers and Trail Blazers tonight.
