Six players score in double digits as the Memphis Grizzlies stood no chance against Showtime. Los Angeles Lakers win 107-102.

After a win against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, the Los Angeles Lakers looked to finish their short home stand undefeated by beating the Memphis Grizzlies. Although the game was expected to be an uphill battle, the young Lakers team built a big early lead and held on at the end.

Brook Lopez and Brandon Ingram played great in the win as they combine for 41 points on 50 percent shooting. As for the Grizzlies, Mike Conley and Marc Gasol came ready to play as they combined for 38 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists. Overall, the matchup was a great showcase of unselfishness as 10 players totaled double-digit points.

With the win against the Grizzlies, the Lakers now find themselves back at the .500 mark. More importantly, the Lakers now look hungrier than ever. In their last two games, the team has shot 49.1 percent from the field and averaged 61 points in the paint.

The team now looks to hit the road for a four-game span, starting with the rival Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Before we get to that game, however, let’s take a look at some takeaways from last night’s win.
