Brandon Ingram

One of the players for the Lakers to keep an eye on will be second-year pro, Brandon Ingram. So far this season, Ingram has been a much-improved player. Due to Ingram’s unique size and speed, many have compared him to Antetokounmpo of the Bucks. While Ingram isn’t on that level yet, he will likely have a chance to play against Antetokounmpo some on Saturday night.

This season, Ingram has taken a big step forward. While he isn’t averaging the loft goal of 20 points per game, we have seen a much-improved player on the offense end. So far, Ingram is averaging 15.1 points per game and is shooting 46.6 percent from the field. Ingram has also improved greatly from behind the arc, as he is shooting 35 percent this season. Over the past five games, Ingram has averaged 16 points per game and is shooting slightly over 50 percent from the field.

In the past few games, Ingram has been a very aggressive player, and that has led to good things for the Lakers. If Ingram does line up in a matchup with Antetokounmpo, it will be a true treat for basketball fans. While Antetokounmpo is ahead of Ingram in progression, Ingram is certainly helping the Lakers win games this season.
