Check out our slideshow of three matchups to watch tonight in the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns will face off tonight for the second time this season. The Lakers come into the game on a three-game losing streak, as their first road trip of the season has not gone well. The Suns come into the game in the midst of a six-game homestand, and they have struggled as well.

The Lakers have lost to the Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards, and Milwaukee Bucks. They haven’t looked great for most of the trip but will look to snap the losing streak tonight. The Suns picked up a victory in their last game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, so they are coming into the game with more momentum than the Lakers.

However, the only victory the Lakers have this season away from STAPLES Center came against the Suns. In the second game of the season, the Lakers defeated the Suns 132-130 for their first and only road victory of the season thus far.

The Suns are a much different team from that first meeting. Earl Watson is no longer the head coach, as he was fired and replaced by Jay Triano. Also, starting point guard Eric Bledsoe is no longer with the team. The Lakers faced him earlier in the road trip, as the disgruntled Bledsoe was traded to the Bucks.

Like the Lakers, the Suns are a young team looking to find their way. Both teams rely on younger players to carry the load, so there are a lot of fun matchups across the board to keep an eye on.

Which matchups could determine the outcome of the game? Check out our slideshow of three matchups to watch for that will help decide whether the Lakers or Suns come out on top tonight.
