On Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers will be squaring off against the Phoenix Suns. Here are three players to watch.
After a thrilling game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Los Angeles Lakers will be attempting to get back in the win column against the Phoenix Suns.
This will be the third time that the Lakers have played the Suns already this season, and so far it has been good for the Lakers. In their first two meetings, the Lakers were able to defeat the Suns. Most recently, it was a 100-93 win on the road.
For the Lakers, they could certainly use another win, as their four-game road trip did not go all that well. Now that the Lakers are back at home, defending their home court will be very important. Even though the playoffs are a long shot in the Western Conference, it is still very early in the season, and anything can happen.
Coming into Friday night, the Suns are really struggling, as they have lost seven of their last eight games. Like the Lakers, the Suns are a rebuilding team, and they will likely be in for a rough season after trading away one of their best players in Eric Bledsoe. While Devin Booker is an awesome talent, there isn’t much else around him right now.
Since the Lakers have won the previous two matchups, we should expect another win from them at home. Phoenix has struggled on the road this season, and this is a good opportunity for the Lakers to bounce back. Here are three players to watch on Friday night.
