The Los Angeles Lakers head back out on the road tonight, paying a visit to the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers come into the game with a record of 8-13, while Denver enters with a 12-9 record.
Despite being on a three-game losing streak, the Lakers have to feel good about themselves coming into the game. The Lakers gave the Golden State Warriors everything they could handle on Wednesday night before losing in overtime.
The Warriors were very complimentary of the Lakers following the game, speaking highly of the young talent on the team. Brandon Ingram received praise from Kevin Durant after scoring a career-high 32 points. Draymond Green also had nice words for Julius Randle, who had a strong game off the bench.
The Lakers will be relying on those youngsters again tonight against the Nuggets. The Lakers will be catching a break tonight as the Nuggets will be shorthanded in the game.

Center Nikola Jokic sprained his ankle earlier in the week and is expected to be sidelined for multiple games. It is a big blow for the Nuggets who are also without Paul Millsap, who suffered a wrist injury in the first meeting against the Lakers.
Oddly enough, the Nuggets also lost Jokic and Millsap in the first meeting against the Lakers. Jokic was ejected in that game and Millsap was forced out because of injury.
There will also be plenty of eyes on Lonzo Ball. Ball had a monster game in the last meeting against the Nuggets, recording his second career triple-double. Coming off a strong game against the Warriors, Ball will be looking to put together strong back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
