Los Angeles Lakers vs Philadelphia 76ers: 3 Players to watch on Thursday night
By Nick Ziegler
On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Lakers will be heading East to play the Philadelphia 76ers. Here are three players to watch.
The Los Angeles Lakers will be starting a four-game East Coast trip on Thursday with a matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. This will be the second and final time that the Lakers see the 76ers this season, and it will likely be another entertaining game.
In the first meeting, the 76ers were able to come to the Staples Center and pull out a win in a thrilling game. That game resulted in a 115-109 win for the 76ers, as their young stars were on display.
Coming into Thursday, the 76ers are playing some good basketball, as they are over .500, and the process appears to be going quite well. With an over .500 record, the 76ers should be a playoff team in the Eastern Conference this season if that holds, and everyone is enjoying seeing their young stars succeed.
For the Lakers, they are heading into this very difficult part of their schedule already on a five-game losing streak. Despite playing the Golden State Warriors very close not too long ago, the Lakers have lost to teams like Sacramento Kings recently.
Consistency has been an issue for the Lakers, as with all of the youth on their team, they have struggled on some nights. Since the 76ers recently beat the Lakers on their home court, the Lakers should be trying to get some revenge.
With this game being on TNT in front of a national audience, the young stars for both the Lakers and the 76ers will be looking to shine. Here are three players to watch on Thursday night.
