The Los Angeles Lakers tough stretch of games continues tonight. After defeating the Houston Rockets on the road on Wednesday night, the Lakers have another difficult test tonight against the Golden State Warriors.
The Lakers are entering tonight’s game off their best victory of the season. Los Angeles won in Houston 122-116, snapping a three-game losing streak. The victory also snapped the Rockets’ 14-game winning streak.
Tonight, the Lakers will look to snap another lengthy winning streak. Golden State comes into the game riding a 10-game winning streak. Two of those victories in the winning streak came against the Lakers.
An overtime defeat of the Lakers back on November 29th kicked off their winning streak. Another overtime victory over the Lakers on Monday night when Kobe Bryant had his jerseys retired was the ninth consecutive victory.

This time, the Lakers will be heading on the road to take on the Warriors. Injuries will be a big storyline in the game tonight for both teams.
For the Lakers, Brook Lopez is out with an ankle injury. Lopez sprained his ankle Monday against the Warriors.
The Warriors have plenty of injuries themselves. Stephen Curry is still out with an ankle injury of his own. Andre Iguodala and Zaza Pachulia are both questionable, while Shaun Livingston is doubtful. Draymond Green is expected to return after missing four games with right shoulder soreness.
With so many players sidelined, there will be other players being counted on to step up. For the Lakers, Kyle Kuzma will be highlighted, coming off a career-high 38 points against the Rockets. Lonzo Ball has also played well and could have to carry more of the scoring load tonight.
