With the NBA Trade Deadline quickly approaching, who should the Los Angeles Lakers trade and who should they keep?
On Monday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Larry Nance Jr., Jordan Clarkson, and Julius Randle have all been made available for a trade by the Los Angeles Lakers. This isn’t too surprising as all three players have been rumored to be traded at least once in their young Lakers careers.
Randle has been rumored heavily all season, with his minutes fluctuating so much while, at the same time, playing so well. It’s interesting to see Nance and Clarkson officially join Randle in the rumors, as you have to wonder who will all be leaving the Lakers before the February 8th trade deadline.
As Lakers fans, we’d love to keep all of our young core players that we drafted. It’d be great to have players like Randle, Nance, and Clarkson around when we reach a championship caliber level again. The fact is that it’s starting to seem like having them all around won’t work for the future structure of the roster and salary cap. With that being said, let’s use a little tough love and decide who would be best to trade, and who would be best to keep.
