– Josh Hart
Due to the injuries in the backcourt, one of the players that will certainly be getting more minutes is Josh Hart. As a rookie, Hart has worked his way into the rotation for the Lakers after some solid performances when minutes became available.
At Villanova, Hart was one of the best players in the country, and he has shown a lot of things that the coaching staff and fans like to see. Hart is one of the best defensive players on the team already, and we are just waiting to see if he can become a bit more consistent with his offensive game.
In the last 10 games, Hart has been playing well, as he is averaging 9.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. Hart’s shooting percentages have also been pretty good, as he is shooting 43 percent from the field and 37 percent from beyond the arc.
Hart will mainly be seeing minutes at shooting guard with KCP out, and will likely be starting. Since the Lakers could use some scoring punch, Hart should certainly look to be more aggressive in looking for his shot. Against the Pacers, Hart should certainly be in line for at least 30 minutes of action.
