Los Angeles Lakers: 3 takeaways from win against the Indiana Pacers

Jordan Clarkson
This season has been one of the most lopsided for Jordan Clarkson. On the negative side, he is playing a career-low in minutes, is averaging the second-fewest points in his career, and has a career-low of starts.
On the positive, however, JC is averaging a career-high in field goal percentage, the second-highest three-point percentage of his career, and the second-highest assist average of his career.
Ever since he heard reports that he was on the trading block, Clarkson struggled to play well with the team. From then up until last night’s matchup, he averaged 8.4 points in 19.4 minutes. Additionally, he shot 33.3 percent from the field and an awful 14.3 percent from deep.
Last night, however, Clarkson found his spark once again. The four-year pro finished the night with 33 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Furthermore, he shot 73.7 percent from the floor and 50 percent from deep.
Hopefully, JC can continue to help the Lakers win and boost his trade value.
