Check out our slideshow of five players to watch in the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics.

The Los Angeles Lakers are playing some of their best basketball of the season. They have won six of their last eight games, including two in a row. They will look to keep the good times rolling tonight against the Boston Celtics.

This will be the second and final time that the old rivals get together during the regular season. The two teams faced off back on November 8th as the Celtics rolled at the STAPLES Center 107-96. Now, the teams will have their rematch cross country at the TD Garden.

In the first matchup of the season, the Lakers were healthy going into the game. They have their full squad, something that cannot be said for the matchup this time around.

The injury bug has bitten the Lakers in recent weeks. Rookie point guard Lonzo Ball is uncertain to play on the road trip as he deals with a knee sprain. His starting backcourt mate, shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, has an Achilles injury that has also held him out of the last two games.

Despite the injuries, the Lakers look to have rallied together, pulling off victories over the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. The Celtics are on a different level from those two teams, but the Lakers have some momentum heading into the matchup tonight.

If they want to win their third consecutive game, they will need some players to step up. Check out our slideshow of four players to watch for in the game tonight between the Lakers and Celtics.
