Los Angeles Lakers: Preview of upcoming 5 Game road trip
CHICAGO, IL – JANUARY 17: Kris Dunn /

Chicago Bulls

Current Record: 18-30

Notable Streak: Chicago has gone 15-10 since starting off the season 3-20

Player to watch: Lauri Markkanen

The game against the Bulls is one of the winnable games that the Lakers should take advantage of. They will have two days off between their Celtics win and the Bulls game to rest and travel so they should be in good shape.

It will be interesting to see how the Lakers approach Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine defensively. Look for Julius Randle to be on Markkanen a lot as he matches up well athletically and size-wise. For LaVine, it might take a group effort from the guards. Look for Josh Hart to step up, as he has been good defensively off the bench.

The Lakers won the first matchup against the Bulls on November 21st, 103-94.
