With the trade deadline approaching, the Los Angeles Lakers are rumored to be shopping Julius Randle. If they trade him, here are four possible destinations.
As the trade deadline approaches, the Los Angeles Lakers will have some tough decisions to make. As of now, they still do have a slim chance of making the playoffs, but that could change depending on what they do at the deadline.
With the desire to clear cap space for the 2018 and 2019 offseason, the Lakers are going to have to make deals in order to make that happen. One of the players that have been rumored to be available is Julius Randle.
To start the season, Randle was coming off the bench for the Lakers. After being a starter the season before, it was surprising to see Randle coming off the bench. With inconsistent minutes, Randle’s numbers were slightly down with him not being a starter.
As a starter, Randle has really played well, and he has been able to record some big games for the Lakers. Despite being just 23-years-old, the Lakers might not be willing to pay Randle a lot of money this offseason.
With him set to be a restricted free agent, the Lakers might decide to move him if they don’t believe he is going to be in their future plans. As a strong player, Randle can certainly help a playoff contender as a valuable weapon as a starter or off the bench.
With the trade deadline almost here, these are four possible trade destinations for Randle.
