Los Angeles Lakers: 4 Possible trade destinations for Julius Randle

One of the playoff contenders that could use some help is the Portland Trail Blazers. The past few years, the Trail Blazers have been able to have success with their great backcourt of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. However, that great duo hasn’t resulted in much playoffs success.

Last season, the Trail Blazers were able to trade for center Jusuf Nurkic to help bolster their frontcourt. Nurkic has certainly been a good addition for the Trail Blazers, but they could still use more help.

As of now, the Trail Blazers could use some upgrading at the power forward spot. With Al-Farouq Aminu as the starter, adding Randle would be an upgrade there. Ed Davis has been productive for them off the bench, they could certainly use a bit more on the frontline.

The Trail Blazers are currently right on the edge of a playoff spot in the Western Conference, as they were certainly beneficiaries of the Clippers trading Blake Griffin and the injury to DeMarcus Cousins. However, if they want to pull off a first-round upset, they will need to improve at the deadline. Randle would certainly be able to fill a need for the Trail Blazers and could help them move up in the Western Conference standings.
